Chris Nolte

Co-founder and Managing Partner

Chris is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Berengaria Development. Prior to Berengaria, he was Director of Real Estate for the Marcus Corporation where he worked on a variety of real estate, strategy, tax, and finance issues. Chris left the public company to help lead the private investment firm, Marcus Investments, which was started by the Marcus Corporation’s controlling shareholder, the Marcus Family.

Chris graduated from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with an MBA in Finance, Real Estate and Organizational Behavior. He also graduated from The College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Economics. Chris is the President of the Kellogg Alumni Club of Wisconsin and is on the Board of Directors for the Association for Corporate Growth. He lives in the Milwaukee area and is married with three sons and a daughter. | 414.585.8901

David Marcus


David is the co-founder of Berengaria Development and Managing Director of Marcus Investments. Prior to forming Marcus Investments, he was Managing Partner with Bridgenet/Netrox, a leading provider of Internet and network solutions to businesses in South Florida.

David graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with an MBA in Real Estate. He received his BSBA with a concentration in finance from Boston University. David sits on the boards of a variety of charitable organizations including the Froedtert Hospital Foundation and City Year. He is currently serving as the President of the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum Board of Directors. David lives in the Milwaukee area and is married with three daughters. | 414.585.8840

Jay Peirick


Jay is a Partner at Berengaria Development and has been with the company since its inception in 2008. Prior to joining Berengaria, he was an architectural project manager where he was responsible for the design of industrial and retail projects.

Jay graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a B.S. in Architecture and a B.A. in Economics. He volunteers with several non-profit organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for Business Improvement District #5, the Westown Association in Milwaukee, WI. Jay lives in the Milwaukee area and is married with two sons. | 414.585.8871



Dan Sisel

Director of Development

Dan is the Director of Development at Berengaria Development, and is responsible for site selection, lease and purchase agreement negotiation, and the management of asset improvements (new construction and renovations) with a focus on donation retail facilities. Prior to joining Berengaria, he managed projects for an international construction management firm where he was responsible for leading teams through the early stages of projects, with a focus on project costs, schedule and constructability.

Dan is a licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a Masters in Architecture and a B.S. in Architecture. He serves on several non-profit committees and is currently the President of the Board of Directors for St. Coletta Day School, a local non-profit school that serves children with cognitive disabilities. Dan lives in Milwaukee and is married with 2 daughters and a son. | 414.585.8877
